Schooling livery is provided by Mother and Daughter team Isla and Rose Foley.
We Specialize in backing and producing youngsters for dressage and rehab but our services are provided for any type of horse or pony for various reasons:
When breaking your horse or pony we make sure all horses are mouthed, lunged and long reined before mounted. We allow horses to develop at their own pace, making it a calm and enjoyable experience. Our aim is to ensure that all horses and ponies that we back are given the best start, ready to go home and enjoy life with their owner and start their career, whether it be competitively or as a happy hacker.
We can take in ponies from 12hands upwards who are schooled by Rose Foley under the watchful eye of her mother and trainer Isla Foley, Rose has helped many clients with ponies and also took our unbacked 13hh 3 yr old Westerby Mister Stardust to become 2018 Scottish Novice Freestyle to music dressage Champion.
In 2019 Along with many wins and sashes Rose and Cordici K owned by Shona Leckie finished 2019 by being awarded Scottish dressage pony and rider of the year at the Scottish Equestrian Awards.
In 2020 after lockdown Rose and Cordici K competed at the Winter championships at Hartpury and became U21 Area festival Elementary national champions, they finished the year winning both Medium classes at Valeview high profile.
In 2021 Rose and Cordici K competed at Pony FEI level representing Great Britain twice, we're short listed for the Europeans and finished their Pony career together by winning the FEI Pony Freestyle and Individual at Keysoe High profile.
Rose will now concentrate on training Cordici K up the levels and will campaign Joanne Barry and Mary Hopes Corchapin at Junior level hoping to be selected for Great Britain later in the year.
Rose is also part of the Horse Scotland Performanace Squad.
Isla is an established rider training her horse Houdini that was purchased as an unbacked 4yr old up to Prix st George, Unfortunately a severe pelvic injury put an end to Houdini known as Harry competitive career, although still training at advanced medium level harry has an easy life with no pressure to perform.
Isla has backed and produced many horses from an early age having worked on the family yard then in the Showing and Racing industry.
We work along side a team of professionals that visit the yard regularly so together we can get to the bottom of any problems.
