Trekking is available all year round mainly off road around our 650 acre estate enjoying the peaceful countryside.
Any one can enjoying Trekking from their 5th Birthday even if you are a complete beginner as a member of staff can walk on foot if needed.
We have canter tracks for the more experienced riders and walk only treks for beginners or riders just wanting to relax and enjoy the scenery.
Saturday club is run fortnightly 10am - 2pm and cost £25.
This is a fantastic opportunity for children to make new friends with children that share the same passion for ponies.
Saturday club includes a group lesson or trek and stable management covering all areas of yard/field management,training and horse care.
This club help prepare children looking to progress on to eventually owning their own pony.
We cover everything from mucking out, grooming, show preparation,veterinary, lunging in different training aids, long reining to saddle fitting, with horses you can never stop learning!
We run two Gymkhanas a year, one in April for Easter and one in October for Halloween.
We make sure these tie in with Saturday Club and cost £25 10am-2pm.
The Gymkhanas are open for children of all abilities and gives them the opportunity to ride ponies that they wouldn't normally use in their lessons.
Once the kids arrive we spend an hour grooming and getting the ponies tacked up before heading down to the main arena where we play games from egg n spoon on horse back to our famous donut eating race. We have music playing over the loud speakers, which the kids love.
We finish the day with party food back up at the yard.
Pony parties are very popular and available between April and October.
On arrival the children will pair up and spend time grooming and getting to know all off the ponies, this way it gives any of the children that may not have ridden before the chance to relax and bond with the ponies. Plaiting bands are supplied as plaiting manes and tails is always a favourite.
The children then enjoy party food whilst we get the ponies tacked up ready to ride.
we take the ponies down to the arena where the children get to swop about and take turns riding and leading.
Once back up at the yard each child is presented with a pony themed loot bag.
Pony themed, Invitations, table wear, filled loot bags and food are all included in the price.
the barn is decorated to a high standard and all the clearing up is taken care of.
A great stress free party that your child and their friends will be taking about for a long time.
Parties are 2.5 hours on Sundays only and start at £220 for minimum of 6 children. Extra children can be added for £12 per head.
2 nights and 3 days of pure pony fun!
Each child has a pony to call their own for the duration of the camp. They will have full responsibility of their pony and learn intensive stable management and pony care as well as riding twice a day. The lessons consist of flat work, poles and jumping and we end camp by doing a full show jumping course.
All food is included and the children camp onsite in tents or caravans.
These camps fill up fast so we usually do two during the first two weeks of the summer holidays.
Camp costs £220. A deposit of £100 secures your child’s place on your chosen camp dates.
Children are welcome to bring their own ponies and we can offer individual turnout.
